god is a girl.

everyone of us know this song, and i simply love this version.

unplugged music rocks this complicated world.

woo, i just watched the full version of 2005 Victoria Secrets Fashion Show. its so freaking good! everything is so sophisticated and elegant, wow~. what els can i say other then a wow~

i think its sad how some people try so hard to fit into groups in which they dont really belong to. its amazing how they try but i guess some things are just now meant to be. life is still beautiful you know, try out new stuff.

eh, its for sales leh. anyone want to live with me? maybe we can share the cost?

i think anyone that habours the slightest idea that god is fair when creating us ought to bite his/her own tongue and bleed to death. come on man, god aint fair. some people are brought into the world with certain characterisits. these elements are innate, they belong to them. comparing with these people brings you no where, absolutely no where except self-destruction and demoralisation. so, my point to myself is the biggest enemy is ourselves. we should aim to challenge ourselves and bring out the best juice in us, at the same time being realistic and contented.

for example, a girl may aim to be pretty. but is it possible for her to a victoria secrets girl? so, are you going to encourage her to eat only an apple a day? yea, i think i get what i mean. so, the moral of the story is i am going to challenge myself this holiday and hopefully achieve some objectives.

1. wake at latest by 7am on all weekdays. the morning is really too beautiful to be missed. so what am i going to do after i wake up?

2. job every morning to regain the secondary 1 fitness level. the days when i run daily to accumulate mileage seems as far as the days dinosaurs existed.

3. i play guitar everyday, i learnt quite abit over the past 1 year and i am absolutely proud of myself. i have met some amazing people whom have given me musical advices on where i should head towards my playing. with some directions, its really up to myself to work hard on that 6-stringed item at the corner of the room. i feel myself really close to unlocking the box and start my improvising stunts. i know what i need exactly, i need to work on my scales positions and listen to more genre of music to absorb as much inspiration as possible.

4. no more 1.5 pull-up, i need to be pulling more.

5. improve on my various IT software skills generally.

ok. alot more, but i am going to just put 5 down. i am off to study for medisoc.

Ibanez 90th Anniversary Concert.

this piece is Powerhead by Steve Vai featuring Andy Timmons.

its a totally amazing piece. steve vai deployed a dazzling array of guitar techniques in this song, there are hardcore techniques such as legato (which i think is impossible for me), tapping, string skipping with tap (the signature vai style), the usual whammy tricks. and i think the best part is the part after the saxaphone phone. steve seemingly made the guitar 'cry' with various effects. that solo is so full of emotions!

ok. i got no idea how many people are going to wait for it to load and watch it. but its one of my all time favourite piece ever since i started listening to guitar instrumental music.

erm...

if i can have a couple of wish from god, one of it would probably be....

good hair day everyday.

i am pretty sick and tired of my hair. well, it looks ok if i am lucky but it just sucks most of the time. well, i am definently going to cut it before the thailand trip. yea, the thailand trip is confirmed, its going to fall on the 14th of march all the way to the 28th for 2 solid weeks. i think it will be the longest period of time i will be away from my papa and mama. oh well, i think its quite amazing how much i have grown up ever since i enrolled in mass comm. i guess its a good thing after all.

this is a random picture of us taken at friends. i am happy that many of my classmates are coming along for the thai trip; a whopping 12 of us! however, there will also be many others that i need to get to know. i am praying the trip will be a success for all of us.

anyway, its been a long day for me. danial, jasmine and i went job-hunting at orchard for the whole afternoon. i dare say today was pretty fruitful. we went for 4 jobs interviews altogether and 3 of them seems pretty positive. in fact all 3 of us are already employed by sakura international buffet. wow, if only we can eat the food at the end of the day! another exciting job opportunity would be being promoter for apple at one of the events. so, who says there are no job opportunities?

another exciting news is... i saw some ads in the papers today apparently offering high prices for second hand laptops. guess how much my lappie is worth?

apparently 2K+. woohoo, that means i can sell my thinkpad and change to a ibook that boast a intel processor chip. yeah man, i am embracing the mac family soon.

bye bye windows. but my thinkpad has served me well and i love it. i would never imagine a fews years back that i will own a personal laptop. and i cant do without one now that i have owned one before.

i have always wanted to post some pictures that i have taken. i love them sooo much, some may be tyco shots but it was taken by me neverthless. so, here they are....

this one is a nice one, its one of my favourite. the girl is actually danial's girlfriend and it was taken at KL when we went over to work as camp instructor at frasier's hill. who is danial?

well, this dude here is danial.

well, i think this one got pretty nice framing and angle in it.

k. just 3 for today, i am off to do other stuff.

i am confessing~

a big sorry to those whom i haven talked about, you guys are all my friends. just that as all media messages are constructed...~ and, i realised i dont have a single picture of Anto! dont feel hurt, we can take pics in our next outing.

so, the bunch of the past 2 days was spent at the convention centre, giving lost souls advice as to whether anot the school of film and media studies is a good place for them to proceed to in the next stage of life. it was pretty amazing the different people who came down. there were aggregate points ranging from 6 points to 31 points. (for L1R4). but i guess everyone had a common passion for some kind of media studies, so i entertained all gladly though i was more enthu with certain people.

the most amazing encounter in the convention centre was probably this man whom i talked the most to. we talked quite abit of shit from chinese culture to characteristics of good teachers and kinda stuff. i know he is henry tan. the only thing i got no idea about is the fact that he is the director of FMS. well, i must say i was pretty suprised. to think that i actually asked him if he is a lecturer in MCM for year 1. haha, but it was certainly a pleasure talking to him. i would say he is a nice guy whom has the charisma to relate with people.

k. i wish all good luck for the posting which will be out 2 weeks later i think.

georgia was on my mind.

i love listening to different genre of music. every experience seems be bring me into a totally different world.... its pretty amazing what do re mi fa soh la can come up with.

so, quite abit happened this week. the biggest thing would most probably the conclusion of the whole apple project, which also implies the end of the semester. which is equal to completing year 1 of my mass communication studies in ngee ann polytechnic. how time flies huh~?

the best part about mass comm is probably the people i got to know. not that everyone is good, but its just amazing to see the different behaviours around. if you dont see your face, it doesnt mean you are not my friend....

lets start with the guys....

wow, a full picture of all the guys! yea, we have 7 guys in the class of 20. but effectively, we have maybe 4 and a half?

firstly, introducing 'sai kang' warroir Mr Joel Sim. the girls all say that he is the nicest guy in class, but the actual fact is they haven seen the true side of him yet. the girls say he is quiet... but trust me, he is one man full of shit too. but i salute this man! not being rude here, but i bet he can cook better than all the girls in mass comm combined. you can try his cooking at the outsiders cafe at tanglin mall. to conclude, actually i think i am nicer than him... seriously.

this second beng here is mr lucas, i call him lulu sometimes. this pictures tells you at least 40% of him, basically cocky and confident. i think hes got some bastard thinkings, but its ok as all man are bastards. he likes basketball and pretty girl. if you are a cheena looking girl, he is probably looking out for you.
Danial. he is loud, he thinks i am a sore loser. he thinks he has got italian blood, well he is basically.... he closes down his blog when he is in a bad mood, and he thinks that he is not suitable for mass comm sometimes. but this dude is cool~ because.... i am still thinking.

so we have got to know joel and lucas, this new friend we have here is Nat. he is building body mass now, well he is a interesting guy to talk to. i dont know what to say about him at all, cause i just keep remembering his expression at the gym yesterday... 'joel, help me do another 5...'

but i am quite tired now so think i will just post pictures of the girls and talk less.
this first girl here is shear lene. alot of people think she is pretty, but i dont crazy is a better word to use. you wouldnt imagine the words that can possibly come up of her mouth, but still i would say she has a wonderful attitude and character. yea, you have done malaysia proud!
this is crystal. she is wierd, she is one you got no idea what the hell she is talking about. so, wierd is the best word to use.
eh. this is not a wax figure ok? this is fizah, she is my 2nd malay friend. very pretty and talented with abobe kinda stuff. but can get random sometimes and tom is always on her mind.
Valerie and Jiun. valerie is hot, what els can i say? as for jiun, she may look innocent enough, and its highly possible she flashes you a 'hey, i got low IQ smile'. but dont be deceive by her... anyway, she may look strong but her punches are really harmless. i urge her to try harder next time. (can try to others, but not me.) this is jasmine, she is a very cute girl. and the only girl in the class whom can play guitar. i cant imagine the days when she was more rebellious, it must be pretty comical. but still, i admire some aspect of this girl alot nevertheless.
selene and kristy. i got no time to write anymore, i got to go to work. i shall continue the next time.

power nap.

i feel sooo refreshed after a short power nap, i feel i can carry on till 4 am again or maybe even later. a check with joel today shows our marketing report is relatively on track, yea!

today was a pretty fruitful day, i cherish days like today. i spent quality time on work, with family, friends and doing something extra like helping the school out for open house. the filming with ah toon later in the afternoon was amazing. she is soo smart! she understood everything that was required of her, and best of all is the fact that i can see she really enjoyed herself.

i cant wait to get the group picture from kristy and i will post it up immediately. ok, its 9pm and i am off back to work.

super duber me needs no sleep.

i am so sick of all the 'competitor's analysis'.

nokia sucks.
motorolo sucks.
samsung sucks.
sony ericsson really~ sucks.

ok. apple rocks! can i have my ipod for that?

the marketing report is a mad rush, but a rush for time doesnt mean i would compromise quality. i am going to come up with 'probably' the best shit ever in the shortest time. i can...

cause super duber me needs no sleep.

i blame lucas for this lousy shot. he was being greedy by holding 2 camera (phones), one on each hand. the end result is too much right-brain room. bad shot....

shear thinks that she is being artistic and professional by taking the shot at a tilted camera angle. hai~ what can i say.... other than lousy shot again, cause i got to tilt my head to see myself properly now.

ar.... finally a perfect shot. this is a medium close up (i think) shot of 4 pretty girls from my class. (cough~~) this shot is good cause everyone is smiling and looking at the camera. there is enough head room, the lighting condition is good, you can basically see everyone's teeth. and i bet you sense how proud they are to be in the school of film and media studies. anyway, this shot was by me. thank you.

i took 15 minutes to do this entry. didnt waste too much time i guess.
