god bless me.

tomorrow marks the start of a new semester. the second semester for my 3 years diploma course. it seem like yesterday i was mugging for the stupid 'O's. (well. to think back of it. its was pretty stupid.) and today i am already pretty much on track with everything.

i just freaked out badly. really really badly. i finally went to open my ngee ann mailbox after such a long time. and. whew.. nothing much inside. except some notice on safe blogging and a second hand textbook sale. who cares. but. later i opened mel. (mobile e-learning i think.) shit. hell is awaiting me next semester. i need to learn alot of technology stuff. i am actually quite interested. but. i am just afraid i wont be able to make it. cause technology really isnt my thing. but never mind. i am there to learn after all.

i would love to learn photoshop actually. i think it would be really fun editing some lame photos. there is this guitarist by the name of paul gilbert. i was just browsing through his website and i saw this page which featured some of his really interesting photoshop experiments. for example.

he got his head. his guitar. and his amp in. cool.~

ok. this one is just pure fun. i would really love to learn all this.

anyway. talking about guitar related stuff. the new G3 concert is out. and its really new. cause it just happened back in may. i thought it was last year. but no. its this year's concert. G3 live in tokyo. well. its tokyo yet AGAIN. lots of rock concert are filmed in japan tokyo. be it instrumental or band and kinda stuff. Japo people love rock music absolutely.

and its little wonder why these ang-mo musicians (including steve vai) love to go there and play. almost every show is a sold-out. and i think most importantly they are a great audience to play to. they cheer. and they know when to keep quiet. they are just great. and alot of rock guys owe their success to the japan market to a certain extent . people like paul gilbert. bands like mr big. dreamtheater.

this years G3 features john petrucci other than the usual steve vai and joe satriani. john petrucci is an amazing guy. he has got frightening fast fingerworks. every note is precise and to the point. and the band that he is in- Dreamtheater. plays real music. very inspiring. i have been hoping to find their video html code. but. no luck.

ok. so. the thing today is. school starts tomorrow. and dont really feel anything. this is strange.
